This month, I’m participating in the Style Me Pretty Fall Challenge with Alison at Get Your Pretty On. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I joined, but I figured I can always use style inspiration. It has been so much fun following along in the Facebook group and seeing everyone’s versions of the outfits and seeing people step out of their style comfort zone.
These photos almost didn’t happen. It pretty much rained all day on Tuesday when I wore this. I don’t have a place to take photos inside so I started getting worried that it would be the first day I wouldn’t be able to take photos. Of course it would be the one day that I really need a specific outfit. (I have a bit of a stockpile of outfits as I take photos every day but don’t always post outfits – see the Pretty Things section of P&P). On to my first Challenge outfit!
As I was pulling this outfit together, I realized I had not 1, but 3 plaid scarves! At least all three are different colors (cream, red, and this blue one). So I have plenty of options.
I’m really loving how this whole outfit came together. The scarf really ties it all together – the green to the jacket, the black to my leggings and the blue matches my purse.
PS: don’t mind my crazy hair that I have going on – it was super windy when I was trying to take these (plus drizzly) that I am just happy the photos turned out as well as they did!
