Jo Totes Abby Bag

Over the last couple years, I have gotten pickier about the bags that I carry. I’m pretty much over the cheap bags that you can get at Target/Walmart/Shopko. If I’m going to get a bag, I want it to last and be useful.

Awhile back, I wrote this post about camera bags. I ended up purchasing the Jo Totes Abby bag. The reason I wanted a new camera bag-slash-purse was for my trip to Texas. I didn’t want to lug around my lame camera bag along with a purse and I didn’t want my camera rolling around a regular purse with no protection. So this bag was the ideal combination.

I used this purse throughout my trip to Texas and it was perfect. I could put my camera and another lens in one side and the rest of my necessary items like my wallet, phone and other items in the other.

Now that the most I’m traveling is to and from work, I’ve been using my Abby bag as a purse. I took out the protective interior pads that are used to keep the camera in place so it acts just like a regular bag. What’s not to love about a bag that not only does it’s job, but also looks good while doing it?

Do you have a bag or other item that is multipurpose?
