Hello friends! Welcome to Day 6 of Create 28. Not sure what Create 28 is? Go here and read about it (and bookmark!) and then come back. I’ll wait. Back? Ok, good. I could pretty much live in a maxi dress all summer long. And spring. Even into fall! Maxi dresses come in so many shapes, prints, and sizes. My favorite kind is a printed maxi dress because they can stand on their own with little to no accessories or you can layer on accessories for an extra pop. I’m especially loving this style, as it just screams summer fun in the sun.
This specific maxi dress has been in heavy rotation for a couple years. I love the easy fit plus the floral pattern is fun and it is easy to pair it will all sorts of colors. I love to pair it with my blue tote. When I wear to work, I often throw on a black cardigan for the the icy tundra that is my cube.
On a side note, I’m so proud of myself because I did this hairstyle all by myself! For the most part, hair is a puzzle to me. I usually wear it down or in some sort of ponytail. But I’ve been loving seeing all of Sarah’s hairstyles and I saw this one on Facebook one day and I realized I could do it. All you have to do is braid your hair in two pigtails and then flip them up and over your head and bobby-pin the braids in place. Easy peasy!
