I’ve said this before, but getting dressed for work this winter has been a struggle. Between Polar Vortexes and a chilly office, I’ve had to layer more than ever. Before, my layering game was a cardi or vest over one item. Now? I’m trying to see how many I can wear on without looking like the Michelin Man.
Take this outfit – I had 4 layers: a cami, turtleneck, chambray, and a herringbone vest. And I was actually warm at work! There is all sorts of things going on in this outfit, but all the disparate patterns and textures end up coming together quite nicely. I’ve already got plans to duplicate this one and switching out a few different pieces – like a solid color turtleneck or a different vest.
Wearing:
Turtleneck: Old Navy (similar)
Chambray: Gap (similar)
Vest: Groopdealz
Pants: Express (similar)
Booties: Sperry Top Sider
Necklace: Apple of My Eye Jewelry
Bracelet: Kiel James Patrick (same colors)
Purse: Kate Spade (similar)
I agree and I really like all the layers 🙂 Gotta stay warm somehow, right?
Thanks Claire! And definitely need to stay warm!
