Kimonos are everywhere lately. From wearing them to the beach as a coverup, to making them more office-appropriate by wearing with a pencil skirt, you can wear them everywhere. Prints vary from florals, tribal, and anything you can think of. I have been on the hunt for one since spring, but can’t seem to find one that I love and within my price range. Sorry, I’m not spending $80 on a piece of gauzy material. Just isn’t going to happen. So, until I find the one, I’ll just wear this crochet one.
While it isn’t the traditional kimono, it still functions the same. It is a lightweight, easy summer layer to add a bit of pizzazz to an outfit. I love to wear this one with maxi dresses to give my shoulders coverage when I wear them to the office.
Have you jumped on the kimono train yet?
