I’ve worn these shoes before (last seen here), but I’m continually putting new outfits together. When I thought to put this dress with them, I knew brown and gold accessories would be the way to go. Adding a brown belt with a purse ties it all together and the bold statement necklace gives it pop.
I always love pulling one portion of an item to create the rest of the outfit. It is the easiest way to create slightly unexpected combinations. How do you put together outfits that don’t fit the “norm?”

LOVE LOVE this dress! Amazing what you can find at the outlets sometimes π Love how you dressed it down with the Sperry’s too π XOXO
Thank you Casey! While I have certainly found some gems at the factory store, I still miss the regular Gap!
Love this! It’s the perfect transitional piece, too. I almost bought a similar one during Old Navy’s 40% off sale today- of course they were out of the color I wanted! The brown belt is the perfect touch!
Thanks! Old Navy seems to be selling out of items quicker lately. I scooped up a couple striped tunics last time they did the 40% and they were sold out like two days later.
I love a good striped dress, that one is great, great for transitioning to Fall. You always find the best stuff. I also nominated you for the Sisterhood of the Blogging World award. Hope you get a chance to answer my somewhat crazy questions π
