I’ve had a love/hate relationship with jeans. Jean shopping is never fun for anyone, but it has been a real struggle for me. I’m right in between needing a “tall” size or longer inseams. And well, I’ve got a bit of a bum in relation to the rest of my body. Meaning to get it to fit my around my hips, the waist would be too big. Don’t even get me started with rises. Why are jeans so difficult?? No wonder I wear dresses and skirts all the time.
I made it my goal this fall to find a pair of dark wash jeans, because I just don’t have a pair. I was wandering through Herberger’s one day and saw that all of their jeans were on sale, so I figured I would at least give a few pairs on. I looked through the dark washes, but wasn’t a fan of the fading that they had. Then I grabbed these flare jeans to try on, since the color was good and I certainly didn’t have a pair of flares. Let me tell you, these fit like a dream. Long enough – I actually have to wear taller boots; the rise is higher, but not too high (and the crotch doesn’t hang halfway to my knees!), plus they hug my curves just right without being too tight. I’m in love.
Do you have a favorite brand of jeans that are your go to?

It was a day of photobomers when I took these. I have no idea what Matthew is doing in the background ?

Your legs look gorg in these!! I hear you –why are jeans so hard??! I am between petite and not petite! HA! My current FAVES are Express Barely Boot in Mid Rise..not quite flare but kinda the same overall look. I also LOVE my Wit and Wisdom skinnies! Perfect for boots ! XO
Thanks! I will have to check those ones out.
I’m loving the 70’s flare jeans I got from American Eagle. They’re stretch fit and lightweight, they fit great and are so comfy. They’d go great with that top.
