Monday. Monday. Monday. How are we already back to you already? Anyone else feel like the weekend flew by? How was yours?
Mine was pretty happening for me. I woke up at about 5:15 on Saturday and was on the road by 6:30 heading to the Minnesota Blogger Conference. This is the second year I attended the conference and I was a bit disappointed. Maybe I picked the wrong breakout sessions for me, or I’m not the bright-eyed blogger I was last year. I’ve taken quite a few classes and webinars from the likes of Helene from Helene in Between and Melyssa from The Nectar Collective and that has really expanded my knowledge. Overall, it wasn’t a bad conference, I just wasn’t blown away like last year. After the conference, I treated myself to a waffle from Black Coffee and Waffle Bar (see my insta of it here). And dang, was it good! Of course, my highlight of the weekend then happened. I headed over to the University of Minnesota and watched the Gophers volleyball team beat Penn State. This is a big deal as Penn State is ranked number 1 in the country, and even more impressive, they won in straight sets. The Pav was definitely rocking and it was a great experience to be there.
Now on to the outfit! I love the simplicity of the black, white and grey. While bare legs will soon be a distant memory (boo winter!), adding a pop of color with a pair of tights could take this into cold weather. I’ve been reaching for more simplistic jewelry as of late, and this frosted monogram necklace fits the bill. See more options in the widget at the bottom of the post.

Someday I want to do a blogger conference! Love that skirt with the boots!
It is really great to attend one! Hopefully one pops up by you soon!
One day I’ll make it to a blogger conference, I am so awkward when meeting people for the first time though… Love black, white and grey…
I’m really awkward too. I think that was part of my problem this year. If someone starts talking to me I’m fine, but I’m terrible at starting the conversation.
I’ve never been to a blogger conference but I’d love to but would hope I would find it a good learning experience (or at least get to meet some of my blogger friends!).
Love the outfit, perfect monochromatic look!

Thanks Shaunacey! I think many of them would be a great learning experience. I might have had too high of expectations on this one though.
This is like my go-to outfit this time of year! Love the way you paired it.
Thanks! I really love outfits like this too. But I think I’ll be wearing tights and leggings with ’em after this week 🙁
