Hi friends! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas weekend! I spent mine Christmas-ing with family, watching basketball and football, and just enjoying time off.
Now to today’s outfit. I’ve wanted to try a blanket scarf with a vest for awhile, but I was worried it would be a bit too bulky. To combat the bulkiness, I went with a tissue turtleneck and a thinner quilted vest (rather than a puffer). It came together and it just might be one of my favorite looks for winter so far! And it reminds me of my love of tissue turtlenecks; they are the perfect base for any outfit.
Do you wear blanket scarves with vests?

Love this look! I’d always thought it’d be too bulky, too, but this is great!
Thanks! Gotta love tissue turtlenecks ๐

Thank you Allison! Turtlenecks really are the perfect layering item.
Oh, I would love to be able to wear a blanket scarf. I am sure if I did, though, the “girls” would look like a lumpy down filled bed underneath the scarf. I don’t think I can bear any more bulk in that area. But love, love the colors of your scarf, that great flippy little skirt and the vest you used to pull it all together. Dressy-casual.
Hahahaa, great minds think alike. My outfit today (I linked it up with the Blended Blog Perspectives link-up) is quite similar to this one. I have on black tights, a flirty a-line, short navy skirt and a colorful blanket scarf, like yours. I would love for you to check it out.
