Plaid Swing Dress

So it begins. Isn’t that first week back after the holidays the worst? I mean, we actually have to work 5 days in a row! Plus I’ve got volleyball leagues starting so that means using muscles I haven’t used since summer. With all that, you can bet I’m going to dress as comfy as possible for work. This plaid swing dress fits the bill. The long sleeves keep me warmer and make layering with a vest a breeze. The swing cut hides the food baby that I am still carrying around from the holidays. Plus it is a relatively blank slate so I can mix and match jewelry and scarves with ease. Swing/trapeze cut dresses are starting to become my favorite kind of dress!

Getting up today and getting back to the daily routine was definitely rough today, so I feel you! Love, love, love this swing dress! I can’t pull off swing dresses, but I absolutely love the way they look on people who can! Happy New Year!

My friend also styled this same swing dress on her new fashion blog and i loved the dress but my Old Navy didn’t have it – so sad. Swing dresses are so tough for me to wear because I feel like a big sak, but now I feel like this dress is taunting me haha. 😉

It totally is 🙂 I ended up having to order mine online because my store didn’t have it. Plus it is usually cheaper online as well.
