On to my Pops of Pink look. Pink isn’t a color I have much in my closet. As in, a couple things that are more of a really light red. So instead I reached for some Lilly Pulitzer (see all my Lilly looks). When in doubt #WearLilly 🙂 This Elsa top is a perfect transition to spring with the bright colors, but still pairs well with a vest to warm it up a bit. I went casual with a pair of flare jeans to complete the outfit. Oh, and how pretty is this tote? **all the heart eye emojis** It can hold a ridiculously large amount of stuff, I haven’t even come close to filling it up! There is even a tablet pocket AND a water bottle holder #GameChanger. I have a feeling I’ll be using it all.the.time.
Tell me, do you wear pink? Or are you more like me and like it as an accent?
Wearing:
Lilly Pulitzer Elsa top in Indigo
Flare jeans via Herbergers (similar)
Lilly Pulitzer Allie vest (similar LP vest)
Dagne Dover mini tote

I feel like this is the first time I’ve seen you in jeans? Also- a tote MUSt have a water bottle thingy…because it always manages to spill on my things and it is always on books I happen to be borrowing from someone. Great look!

Thanks Deena! Jeans are not a big part of my closet, but every once in awhile I pull them out 🙂 Sounds like you definitely need a water bottle holder thingy.
Swoon – that top looks amazing on you – and you paired it perfectly with that vest. That tote is also great! Fab look!
Thank you so much Nicole!
This top is beautiful and so perfectly colored for Spring. Love this week’s theme Allison. Don’t forget to join my linkup tomorrow. Thanks, Ada. =)
Thank you Ada 🙂

Thank you so much!
Your pop of pink is perfect for spring! Love it.
Thank you Christy!
I love your outfit. That Lilly shirt is stunning! I’m obsessed with everything Lilly.
Thanks Leslie! I’m pretty Lilly obsessed myself 🙂
Love your outfit, as soon as I saw it, I thought that looks like a Lilly piece, and it was! Great way to to style it.
Thanks Sarah! Lilly definitely has a signature look doesn’t it?
What a fun blouse – I love the print! Really cute with the vest.
Thanks Lana!
Such a fun look. I love the blouse and the flare jeans. I sure wish I’d kept all mine now that they’re back! Oh that purse too. Yes please.
Thanks Abbie! Isn’t it funny how cyclical fashion is?
I love pink but I don’t have much of it in my wardrobe. I don’t know why. Just don’t. I love Lilly but $$$ so I don’t have any of her stuff either!

Making the Most of Every Day
I always buy my Lilly on sale or eBay. Then it is a lot cheaper 🙂 As for pink, I can just take small doses like in prints, but I don’t think I’ll be having an all pink shirt anytime soon.
This is a great look on you, Alison! Great colors!
Thank you Carrie!
Love the adorable Lilly top!
I am a pink girl too 🙂
xoxo, Jenny
This might be my favorite Lilly top 🙂
This is an amazing outfit for spring! I love it. The color pop is perfect.
Thank you Autumn!
Alison! You have really outdone yourself, here. What a groovy top…works perfectly with the flares/bell bottoms – totally 70s-80s. That rich blue in your vest is perfect. Great bag. One of my very favorite looks ever. Wow!
Thank you Leslie! It all seems to work so well together.
That is a great outfit, and I love the bag! I’m not one who generally wears pink, but I will in small amounts.
Thank you Beth! I’m with you, splashes of pink are a-ok in my book.
I find I definitely like to wear it as an accent. I do have one hot pink top that I always mean to wear out for a night in the city but always chicken out.
I hear you. I. Not sure I could do a hot pink top.
In the words of the best friend in “My Best Friend’s Wedding”…. “Love the shoes, love the bag…love you!” Have to also add, I love the hair, I have been working on that do and it is not quite right but you nailed it!
Thanks so much Heather! I’ve found to get this bun is less is more. Just kinda throw it up. Dirty hair always helps too 🙂
I love that top! I think this is my favorite look of yours! Your whole look looks like it was bought all together – it works so well. I like your tote, too!

Thanks so much Lisa!
<3 this look–and that purse! Very nicely put together 🙂
Thank you Charlotte!
Since I’m thin, tall and blond, I avoid it for the most part. I like to wear dusty pinks that are more of a neutral color instead of a pink, or corals. I rarely wear colors that are considered pink. If I ever do, I ALWAYS get a barbie comment. hahaha.
Oh man, that would get old pretty quick. I think I would stay away from true pink too if I was in your situation.
Perfect look and colors for the spring. I really like the tote.
Thank you! I’ve used this bag a bit more since then and I’m loving it!
