Full disclosure: I totally cheated on this prompt. The full prompt for this week is spring sweater, jeans and flats. Jeans and I don’t get along very well and I pretty much only wear boots or some sort of wedge heel with them. So either the jeans or the flats had to give. I decided to swap jeans for linen pants because I like to be comfy and they are blue, so almost jeans right? Sticking with the prompt, I wore my favorite Lands’ End drifter sweater. These sweaters are seriously the best and I want to add more colors to my collection. And then I bottomed (ha!) it off with my Sperry boat shoes.
Let us not forget this ridiculously awesome necklace. A big statement necklace that is also pearls? Pretty much sums up my loves in one item. If you are all about statement necklaces too, you need to take a look at Mirina Collections. My necklace is even on flash sale right now, but I don’t know how long it will last, so hop to it! If you miss the flash sale, you can still get 20% off your order using promo code “mirinagirls”

Red pants seemed to be the theme for last week’s bright pants look. Be sure to come back next week for jeans, tee, cardi and a statement necklace look!
That necklace is so nice! I’ve contimplated linen pants but am nervous to buy. Do they wrinkle easy ? Your look is awesome !
Thanks Nicole! I don’t find these wrinkle easy. They are a blend of some sort though. I’m pretty sure before I took these photos I took them out of the clothes basket and shook them out and that was it.
I am seriously loving this! Looks like you should be taking a stroll to your sailboat! I mean the perfect fresh, crisp and lovely spring outfit! Talk about pearl heaven, I’m loving that necklace!
Thanks! I seriously need to get a sailboat for all the nautical outfits that I wear 🙂
yay for super blingy necklaces and all the shades of blue. Love this.
Thanks Deena! You really can’t go wrong.
The blue is springy! In North Carolina, I tend to forget to leave out a sweater, just in case the cold comes back (and it usually does briefly). haha
Thanks Kristin! Isn’t that the truth. Winter can go away any time.
I love that necklace! I love the outfit you put together too. I don’t wear linen pants, but they always look so nice and comfortable on others. I’ll have to try a pair sometime.
Thanks Crystal! Linen pants are really great. Hope you can find a pair!
On first glance I thought the were jeans…. you fooled me!
Perfect 🙂
I didn’t even realize these weren’t jeans! I love this whole look, especially with the necklace. So pretty!
Thanks Lana!
So cool those are linen pants, they totally look like jeans! Love that sweater and necklace combo on you!
Thanks Sarah! Gotta love the look of jeans but the comfort of pajama pants 🙂
Definitely going to check out the drifter sweater!! This is a great look!! Reminded me that I have a pair of linen pants just like this…have to dig them out!!
The drifter sweater is seriously fantastic. Hooray for linen pants!
I love this look! That necklace is gorgeous! I love wearing a cardigan, capris and sandals for spring!
Thanks Adriana! That sounds like a perfect spring look.
looking lovely!! can’t wait to see you next week!! CRAZY!!
Simply Shaunacey
Thanks Shaunacey! And yay!
Be honest, do you have to iron those pants? They look so great and now I want some but I am anti-ironing!!
Umm, I don’t own an iron. My husband does but I do not. So that should answer that question 🙂
I would love to fry up the oysters that those adorable, massive pearls came from. I wore white denim…are those jeans? Great look with your flats and linen pants. The beautiful of this series is we can all make the prompt ours!
Thanks Leslie! That is the wonderful thing about the series, so many options!
I love ur pants and the necklace is a great touch!

They really are!
Love the knit details in that sweater and your necklace is amazing!!
Thank you Laura!
Love the navy and the blue linen pants together, it’s a nice pairing. The mix of textures is lovely too! 🙂
Away From The Blue Blog
Thank you Mica! Textures really help when mixing all the same colors.
You just look so cozy and polished at the same time. Which is perfect of course! LOVE that statement necklace, I’m always so hesitant to buy them but then I see bloggers rocking them and I just long for one.
The pearls are kind of a great way to go about it though because they’ll go with anything… hmmm…
