Welcome to another week of Style Perspectives! This week is all about graduation looks. I won’t deny it, I was pretty much stumped on this one. The last graduation I went to was my own. 5 years ago. In December. So a spring graduation outfit was nowhere on my radar. I started thinking about it and realized my alma mater had graduation this past weekend. Since it has been cool, I decided to go with ankle pants and a light sweater. I’ve been waiting to wear these fancy pants since I picked them up in Vegas. Did I mention that Deena (Shoes to Shiraz) got the same pair? #twinsies Anywho, fancy pants make everything a little better, even when it is mid-May and temperatures are only in the 50s and 60s. To finish the look off, I added a big ‘ole statement necklace and easy Sperry shoes. I like this outfit for when you want to look nice, but still get a little (big?) bit of a statement.
Wearing:
Cream lace sweater via Kohl’s (similar)
Floral pants (Sloan fit) Banana Republic
Sperry shoes
Baublebar necklace
Fossil Preston purse
Last week we were looking fancy in blazers, jeans, and sneakers. Come back next week for navy/nautical stripes looks. Don’t forget you can join us on instagram by using #theblendedblogstyle

Great minds obviously think alike twinsie!
I know those pants!!! Love how you styled them and I especially love the blingy necklace!
Thanks Shaunacey!
Liking those shoes… nice and sensible, perfect for wandering around vineyards or tasting rooms!
They would definitely be perfect for a vineyard!
cute look! I had floral pants for a hot second before I sold them. I couldn’t pull it off…you totally can!
Thanks Jessica! I was a little worried about them too, but they grew on me 🙂
Love those pants on you! Man wishing I would have bought them too. I love the statement necklace, jazzes up everything just a notch. Pretty lady.
Thanks Sarah! Too bad you didn’t get them, we could of been triplets 🙂

Thanks Greta! They are pretty comfy, especially since they are work appropriate!
I think fancy pants are totally appropriate for attending a graduation. These pants look great on you!
Thanks Whitney!
Those are some fun pants. You and Deena should do a post together – on how you each styled them.

That would be fun!
Holy moly I’m so digging those pants! How I love a good patterned pant 🙂 They look so comfy and perfect for spring/summer.

They are perfect for this time of year! And you can’t go wrong with a good pattern 🙂
Yep, I love the fancy pants…on both of you!
Thanks Carrie!
Genius! Why did most, if not all of us think “dress” for graduation? You think out of the box. I like that. Your look is feminine and pretty and probably a darn sight more comfy then a dress with heels and hose. Fancy pants for the win.
Who would of thought the one of us that is almost always in a skirt/dress would go with pants when everyone else does a dress? Thanks Leslie 🙂
Yay for Vegas pants! I should have gotten a pair – why didn’t I get a pair? I think I was too tired to think at that point. They look great on you, and I love the sweater.
Thanks Lana! You were too busy squishing macaroons by that time 🙂
Cute look! I like the pants a ton!! 🙂
Thanks Summer!
I want to come to your house and borrow all of your accessories okay? Thanks:)
haha, might be a long trip for accessories 🙂
Such a cute look! I love that sweater!

Thanks Sheila! Thats a great idea.
Love those pants!!
Thanks Katie!
Love this look! I really need a pair of floral or patterned pants this summer. My graduation was ALSO in cold weather, so a warm dress was required.
