Floral Maxi Dress

Last week I talked about my hunt for maxi dresses with sleeves. This floral maxi dress isย another one that I found recently. I love how the top is more modest but the leg slit adds some excitement. The other thing I like about the slit is that it is more in the front rather than the side. It allows for more freedom of movement. As someone that can be a bit of a klutz, I’ll take any help I can get. I’ve already worn it to work, but I could totally see wearing this to something a bit more fancy like an outdoor wedding.

For today’s outfit, I paired this dress with my cute little mint scallop tote. It is seriously so darn fun and I need to use it more often. I love the play of navy and mint together. I went with minimal jewelry as well, but could totally see this with a big statement necklace, especially some pearls.ย This might be even a maxi that I try to wear boots with once fall rolls around! Most of my other maxis are a bit too summery for that, but I think this one could work. Maybe even throw a white sweater over the top for a cozy look.

How would you wear this floral maxi dress?

Once again, I’ve got a photobomer below ๐Ÿ™‚

This is a stunning look! Seriously! I really like how you styled it here but if I had to think of another idea, maybe a bold-colored necklace and then matching shoes?? Also, are all of your photo bombers your pets? Where do you find them??

Thanks Whitney! I like the idea of some statement pieces. And yes, all the photobombers are pets, at least as much as you can say farm cats are pets ๐Ÿ™‚ they kind of come and go as they please, but we have a core group that are always around.
