Have you tried the bandana scarf trend yet? I was a little leery to try it util I saw this beauty. It is from the GYPO collection created by Alison Lumbatis of Get Your Pretty On. I was lucky enough to pick out a GYPO bandana scarf (plus another one that I’ll feature next week!) to style and you better believe I couldn’t wait to pair it with stripes. The little floral scarf goes so well with this navy striped dress. It is the perfect way to elevate a relatively basic outfit with just one item!
Now lets talk about this scarf a bit more. It is 100% silk which makes it a dream to wear. The print is original watercolor artwork AND the scarves are manufactured in the US. Even better? A percentage of all proceeds goes to a Dallas, TX women’s shelter. I’m all about getting beautiful items that support a good cause just by buying it. You can get all the details about this specific scarf here.
You can bet I’ll be wearing it like this again with more stripes or a solid shirt/dress in black, green or navy. Once the weather gets sweltering and wearing anything around your neck is impossible it will look perfect tied around my purse. Can’t you just see it on this blush Tory Burch tote? If I’m feeling really fancy (and not going to work or out to eat because I’m messy), I might even wear it like a bracelet. I’m also going to test out wearing it as a headband because that could be crazy cute!
Have you tried the bandana scarf trend yet? Do you have any suggestions on how to wear one?

I’ve been wearing a striped dress with a floral scarf on repeat this spring! I love the combination!
It is so fun!
I love the dress! The length is perfect! 🙂
It really is 🙂
I love how you mixed patterns with this outfit. I have a plain black bandana that I wore a bit last summer.
Thanks! I think I might have to get my hands on a plain one too.
I agree with Catherine below! Love the mixed patterns here – you did such a great job! Love you in these colors!
Thank you Summer!
That little bandanna scarf definitely makes a different with the striped dress. So cute.
