When the temperatures rise, it can be difficult to dress in a business casual way. Who wants to wear pants in the summer? Not this gal. While dresses are usually my go-to for business casual, a skirt can be a great way to switch things up. Make it a LuLaRoe Madison skirt, and you have a simple but put together outfit. Did I mention it has pockets?? How can you go wrong with that?
To dress up my LuLaRoe Madison skirt, I paired it with a printed cami and white blazer. I love this blazer in the summer because it lightens up any outfit while still leaning towards a more professional look. My office skews more towards the casual end of the spectrum, so I went with wedge sandals. But to make it a bit more business, just add a pair of heels and you are good to go! To finish the look off, I added my favorite Loren Hope bow necklace. It adds a great sparkle without overpowering the rest of the outfit. What I really like about layering with a blazer is when you are done for the day (or on lunch break), all you need to do is take off the blazer and you can be comfortable outdoors.
Moral of the story – throw on a knee-length skirt and add a blazer and you are ready for summer in the office!

It really is great for the office!
I haven’t tried the Madison skirt yet, although my LulaRoe addiction has been under control lately and I don’t know if I want to spark it again. Haha.
haha, it is turning into one of my favorite skirts. I already have 2 🙂
This skirt is a really good look for summer, I’m completely with you on not wanting to wear pants!
Thanks!
The Madison is my absolute favorite Lularoe item, I have two and need more of them!
It is such a great piece!
I love your outfit! I haven’t gotten a Madison skirt because I was unsure how to style it, but you’ve given me some great ideas. Thanks!
It is a really great skirt! I had to do a little experimenting with it too, but it is pretty versatile actually.
Love everything about this outfit. And your hair looks amazing!
Thanks Lana 🙂
LOVE skirts like this cause they are so dang comfy!
It really is ridiculously comfy!
Wait…what? There is grass in that background! That outfit looks amazing and you look great, can I just have your hair?
Ha, we do have grass around here 🙂 Granted, this was taken near where I work because the weather hadn’t been cooperative lately.
I need to try pairing blazer with a skirt. Great office idea – my place is more casual, too – so this would work for me.
