I’ve had plenty of fall uniforms. Like this one. But this fall? Today’s outfit might take the cake. A comfy dress, vest and booties are my kind of fall style. And this maroon sweatshirt dress takes the entire outfit up a notch.

You might ask, what is so good about this maroon sweatshirt dress? Let me tell you. Imagine wearing your pj’s all day. But no one is looking at you like you are a crazy lady. Plus the color is pretty much perfect for fall. And it is a great blank slate to layer accessories. Like a fuzzy vest. Or a scarf. Or a fancy necklace. The opportunities are pretty much endless. One of the other positives is the length. It is that perfect length where you can wear booties or knee high boots. Either will work. PLUS once it get stupid cold, throw on some leggings for another dimension. See what I mean? A perfect fall staple.

So funny story about how I ended up buying this dress. I decided to walk into Gap Factory for just a look around. Nothing really caught my fancy so I was about to walk out the door. I throw one last look over my shoulder and spotted this dress in all its glory near the registers. I did a quick step back and bee lined it over there, grabbed my size and ran to the dressing room. It was love at first sight. It didn’t hurt that it was only $14 or so 🙂
