Hi friends! I’m coming off a long weekend so today is my Monday (boo). But the good news is that there are only 3 more work days 🙂 I took a couple days off this week just because. No real agenda except a hair appointment. It was glorious. I had grand plans to get some extra cleaning done around the house, but I didn’t. And you know what? I’m ok with that. Another fun thing I did over the weekend is go to Minneapolis/St. Paul for a Gopher volleyball game and a quick stop at the Mall of America. I limited myself to about 2 hours there so I really had to be on my shopping game. One of my must stops there was Nordstrom. The thing that came home with me from there was this ASTR the Label tweed blazer.
Let me tell you, this ASTR the Label tweed blazer is GLORIOUS. It feels like a sweatshirt with a bit more structure (hence the blazer name). I’m in love. Here I wore it over a dress for an easy look. But I can totally see it with skinny jeans and a tee. Or maybe with a tunic and leggings and tall boots. I feel like the opportunities are endless with this pretty tweed blazer.
Oh, let me talk about this dress quick. I’ve worn it before here and it is still one of my favorites. If you are on the market for a slimming ponte dress, take a look! It comes in both long and short sleeves as well. I know Duluth Trading Company isn’t the place where you would normally go for dress shopping, but this one is a gem!

I would totally wear that blazer. Also, is it wrong that the Mall of America is on one of must see places?
Nope! I sort of feel that it is a necessary stop for anyone visiting!
The blazer looks great on you. Even though I don’t need one, I want one because it looks so comfortable.
Thanks Beth!
I love that blazer and the whole outfit looks polished but comfortable. Nice work!
Thank you Lecy!
This is so cute, and looks so comfy and warm!
It really is!
So cute, love that you paired it together. I need to start doing that more, jackets with dresses. And I realized too that I need a good LBD…I don’t really have a casual one.
It’s such a great combo! I think this dress is available in black too. Did I mention it has a zip pocket? 🙂
Such a cute blazer! I love how good it looks with a dress!
Thanks Cara!
That blazer looks so comfy and cozy. Perfect for winters up north.
It will be great once winter finally comes!
It looks so so comfy!! And good for you for taking some time off and doing what you want to do!
It is so good! And some of my favorite PTO days are the ones that I don’t have anything happening. Vacations are great, but so is chill time!
That blazer is gorgeous and looks amazing on you!
Thanks Lana!
I did not know that a sweater like that is considered to be a blazer. I absolutely love it. I just wish it was cooler here.
