Howdy friends! We are heading back into a deep freeze around here and I’m over it. Alpaca my bags and head somewhere warm. Ha! I wish. Instead, I’ll wear this beauty of a dress from Lilly Pulitzer in Alpaca My Bags. I mean, can this print get any better? When this dress got added to the After Party sale on day 2, I just couldn’t stop myself. I’ve been eyeing this print since it came out but never saw it in an item I liked. I was a little worried with the “shift dress” description as those rarely work for me. But I have to say the Opal shift dress is the swingy-est shift dress I’ve ever worn.

Let’s talk about the details of this dress. Number 1: its scuba material, which might be the most comfortable fabric ever. Number 2: the zipper! It is a bit tough to see, but there is a great zipper detail on the front. The neckline is a bit higher, so the zipper is perfect to open the neck area up a bit. Plus gold details are never a bad thing. Number 3: seriously, there are brightly colored alpacas on it. If that isn’t a win, I don’t know what would be.

Like I said, it is freezing here, so a cardigan is necessary. But that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun! I love the way the white looks with my Alpaca My Bags dress. PLUS there is fringe detail.
