Hi friends! I’m doing something a bit different today and talking about my skincare routine. I’ve recently streamlined my routine a bunch and it is so nice to not have to spend a ton of time getting ready. I’m down to 5 products for pretty much everything. Keep scrolling to see what I use!
All about my skincare
Tula Purifying Cleanser: This bottle is almost gone, which I always consider a positive. What I like about this cleanser is that it doesn’t make my skin feel dry like others do. I’m trying to decide if I’ll keep using this or if I will switch to something different. I have a sample of a IT Cosmetics cleanser so I might try that.
Chuda Hydrating Cream: This stuff is absolute magic. I got a small jar through Brandbacker awhile back and part of the #ChudaChallenge was only using this for seven days. No other moisturizer, creams, masks or serums. After a couple days, I knew I would at least use up the jar. But after about day 10, there was no looking back. My skin has never looked better. The acne that just never seemed to go away finally did. Any blemishes that pop up heal up quickly. It sort of boggles my mind. It is a little spendy, but when you think about that it takes the place of all sorts of products, it isn’t too bad. AND you can use promo code CHUDA365 to save 50% [Promo code expires 4/20/18. Whiskey, Ink & Lace eye cream: I randomly bought this to try because it was only $15 and I figured it was worth a shot. I really like it, but it says to only use it at night. Which is fine, because that means it extends my more expensive eye cream for morning use. It is very moisturizing, which is really what I’m looking for in an eye cream. On a side note, I’ve been using an eye cream since high school because my eyelids would get dry and swell up. #GoodTimes. So for me, I need moisture, any dark circle/wrinkle fighting is just an added bonus.
Tula Eye Cream: I bought this to have enough for free shipping or coupon code and I like the way it works. Since I’m not picky with eye cream (I just don’t want a lot of extra junk and fragrance) this does the job. After this is gone, I might switch back to Clinique.
IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream: Another game changer in my routine. I’ve been using BB/CC creams for years, but none have worked as good as this one. There is actually a tint that matches my skin color, which I always struggled to find in other BB/CC creams. The coverage is also better. As in, this is all I use for a foundation. In all honesty, if I’m going out and about, all I add on top of this is a bit of blush and mascara. That’s it!
(not pictured) Micellar water: I forgot to include this, but micellar water is my go-to for makeup removal. Right now I’m using Simple, but I pretty much just go with whatever is on sale when it is time to replace my bottle. I love how easily it takes my makeup off.
