Long time no see friends! I have been on a little blog hiatus (besides doing my book posts) this summer. It wasn’t really intentional, it just sort of happened. I’m still trying to figure out how often I’ll be sharing style posts again, but they are coming!

I’ll be honest, it has been just plain hot around here all summer. So I’ve mainly been wearing dresses with a cardigan/jacket. And really, the outer layer really only happened in the office for periods of time. Last week I just needed something different. These pants have been sitting in my closet for a few weeks just waiting to be worn and I knew it was the day. Putting the rest of the outfit together was a little tougher. I landed on a grey top with a navy long vest and I’m loving it. Now, it probably would of been better to wear this outfit when it wasn’t 90 degrees (lol) but it’s still a winner.
